NPH was notified by the Dept. of Treasury they were approved to receive a grant of $400,000 to support the capitalization of the NPH Loan Fund. NPH typically uses these funds to provide downpayment assistance to Native households typically in the form of a second mortgage. These funds substantially assist Native households with access to first mortgage credit and enable Native families to buy or rehabilitate their homes.
