NPH AWARDED $500,000 CDFI GRANT FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF TREASURY

NPH was notified by the Dept. of Treasury that we were approved to receive a grant of $500,000 to support the capitalization of the NPH Loan Fund. NPH uses these funds to provide down payment assistance or home improvement loans to Native households in the form of a second mortgage. These funds substantially assist Native households with access to first mortgage credit and enable Native families to buy or rehabilitate their homes. Over the course of 7 grants the Dept. of Treasury CDFI Fund has awarded $2,228,479.
